Lender FAQ
1. Does Instamo store or reuse login credentials?
No. Instamo is designed with security and lender trust at its core. Advisors are always required to log in manually to lender portals. We do not store, reuse, or auto-fill login credentials. This approach ensures complete data privacy, aligns with best practices in security, and respects the advisor-lender trust relationship. Credentials are handled locally in the advisor’s browser and never transmitted to our servers.
2. How does Instamo ensure advisors remain in control?
Instamo is a human-in-the-loop solution. This means that advisors initiate, monitor, and confirm all interactions. Automation assists with data entry, but nothing is submitted or actioned without advisor review and confirmation. The advisor always remains the decision-maker, ensuring full accountability and accuracy.
3. Can Instamo trigger soft or hard credit searches?
No. Instamo will never click the "Submit" button or take any action that could initiate a credit check, either soft or hard. During automation or testing, all processes are halted before submission. We recognize the sensitivity and consequences of credit activity, and our platform is engineered specifically to prevent accidental triggering of such actions.
4. Are Instamo’s actions visible and auditable?
Yes. Every session can be streamed or viewed in real time, and every advisor action is logged—who performed it, when it happened, and what data was involved. This visibility builds trust, provides a defensible audit trail, and ensures transparency across the advisor-lender relationship.
5. Where does Instamo's automation run from?
All automation originates from static, UK-based IP addresses. Each advisory firm can operate from a dedicated IP or subnet to ensure clean isolation. No traffic ever originates from outside the UK, aligning with jurisdictional expectations and platform integrity checks.
6. Does Instamo scrape or manipulate the lender's site?
No. Instamo never scrapes, parses HTML, or manipulates the DOM. We fill in forms using the same visible fields a human would. This ensures respectful interaction with lender systems, avoids security flags, and upholds the technical and ethical expectations of platform use.
7. How do you prevent automation from appearing robotic?
Instamo mimics natural human interactions by introducing realistic delays between inputs, much like Chrome Autofill. It never blitzes through a form. This human-like behavior ensures that automation feels organic and does not overload lender systems or raise fraud flags.
8. Is test data or fake data ever used?
Never. Instamo only works with real, advisor-approved client data. Advisors must review and consent to all data before it is populated. This ensures that lender portals receive only valid, compliant, and accurate information—preserving data quality and trust.
9. How does Instamo align with FCA and FSMA 2023 standards?
